Jason Jae has emerged as the first interim Head of House (HoH) in the 10th season of Big Brother Naija.
Jason Jae clinched the BBNaija S10 Head of the House on Sunday night following the season’s first HoH game, marking his brief reign as the house’s leader at least for now.
Jason Jae’s victory, while worth celebrating, comes with a ticking clock. He will have to defend his position less than 24 hours later in a newly introduced Monday “HoH challenger game,” part of a major shake-up to the traditional HoH format.
Tribune Online earlier reported that this season “10 over 10”,features strategic changes designed to intensify the competition and keep housemates on their toes. The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, revealed the twist during the Saturday launch event.
Originally, the HoH title guaranteed a full week of immunity from eviction, along with access to a luxurious lounge featuring better food, bedding, and furniture. However, Season 10 introduces a more dynamic structure.
“Head of House games will now take place on Sundays, and the winner will defend their title in a challenger game every Monday,” Ebuka announced.
Jason Jae may be king tonight, but tomorrow’s challenger game will determine if he retains his crown or passes it on to another contender.
