Rooboy, Dede and Joanna, three Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemates earlier sent packing through the controversial red phone twist, have returned to the house.
The trio rejoined on Wednesday night after spending two days in a secret room where their activities were streamed to viewers, in line with Big Brother’s long-running twist tradition.
Their eviction on Monday had shocked housemates after show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, confirmed their exit, with Biggie sealing it through his usual countdown.
Tribune Online reports that Rooboy had been ordered out immediately after answering the red phone, while Dede and Joanna had earlier faced the same fate.
But following the Colgate task on Wednesday, the housemates were stunned when Rooboy, Joanna and Dede walked back in one after the other.
Their return sparked excitement and eased the tension that had built since their supposed eviction.
Joanna declared she would not be leaving the house until the final day, while Rooboy made a dramatic statement with his re-entries.
The red phone twist remains one of Big Brother Naija’s shock tactics where housemates who answer the call receive sudden instructions, often resulting in evictions or punishments.
In Season 10, Dede was first to answer on Monday and was told to name another housemate. She chose Joanna, and both were declared evicted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Soon after, Rooboy also picked the call and was ordered to leave immediately.
The triple exit had left the house in disbelief, fuelling speculation among viewers over whether the eviction was real.
In previous seasons, Big Brother has pulled similar ‘fake evictions’, moving housemates into secret rooms while allowing fans to follow their every move.
