Big Brother Naija Season 10 shocked both housemates and viewers with a major twist in week 5.
After weeks of placing every contestant up for possible eviction, Biggie reintroduced the traditional nomination process on Monday evening, where each housemate was asked to put up two fellow contestants for possible eviction.
This marked the first time this season that the housemates were given direct power to influence who faces the Sunday live eviction show.
The housemates took turns nominating, and the results placed six contestants Ivatar, Faith, Thelma, Zita, Tracy, and Sultana, on the chopping block.
How the housemates were nominated in week 5:
Denari: Kuture, Kola
Ivatar: Kuture, Thelma Lawson
Koyin: Isabella, Sultana
Isabella: Sultana, Joanna
Faith: Ivatar, Daneri
Thelma Lawson: Jason Jae, Koyin

Just when tension filled the room, Biggie introduced a shocking twist. Head of House Rooboy was asked to draw a power from the Tree of Trinkets. To the surprise of all, the power granted him was the ability to nullify all nominations.
“Head of House Rooboy, you have drawn the power to nullify nominations. This means your nominations are null and void. Is this clear? It means the whole house is safe and free from eviction for the week,” Big Brother announced.
The house erupted in relief, with housemates clapping and cheering at the news that no one would be leaving this week.
