President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the November 16 election in Kogi and Bayelsa states has urged the electorate in these states to exercise their franchise in a peaceful and orderly manner.
Buhari gave this charge on Thursday around 4:00 p.m. via his verified Twitter account @MBuhari where he further charged the law enforcement officials to ensure that citizens are allowed to vote without harassment and intimidation.

Buhari said that in all democratic election, there are bound to be winners and losers, assuring that the anticipated Bayelsa and Kogi election will not be different.
He charged the candidates contesting for political posts in the election to be ready to accept the outcome.
Buhari also said if the candidates are dissatisfied with the election result, they should follow due process to seek redress, as contestants must not resort to self-help.
