In what can be described as a heart warming display of Community support, SADAQA Group has expressed determination to embark on an ambitious mission to uplift underprivileged areas in Bauchi State through various developmental projects and programmes.
Consequently, the State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir on Sunday, met with the SADAQA group, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Islam in underprivileged areas.
The group plans to build mosques, houses and Islamic centers across the state, having already identified areas of need aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of residents across the State.
During the meeting held at the Governor’s Office, Bala Mohammed praised the efforts of the SADAQA Group and urged them to support citizens of Bauchi, especially during the current economic challenges.
The Governor stressed that the meeting aligns with his track record of promoting development and welfare to the generality of people of the state since 2019 when he was first sworn in.
Bala Mohammed expressed his deepest gratitude to the SADAQA Group for its selfless efforts, acknowledging the significant impact of the work it is doing for the good of humanity.
He also seized the opportunity to appeal to the Group to continue its support for Bauchi Citizens, especially during these challenging times.
The SADAQA Group’s initiatives align with the Islamic principles of helping those in need as in Islam, Sadaqah , or voluntary charity, is considered a vital aspect of faith, emphasizing the importance of assisting the less fortunate in the society.
