Barrister’s son, Barry Showkey, plans something iconic

The name, Balogun Adewale Akanji, popularly known as Barry Showkey, resonates well in the Nigerian and US entertainment scenes.

The seventh child of the late Fuji maestro, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Balogun Barrister, is no doubt, taking huge steps towards advancing his father’s legacy.

According to a source, the US-based and KORA award nominee is said to be working with a new management called Fierce Management Group (FMG), which will henceforth manage his career in Nigeria.

More so, the source further revealed that Barry Showkey, who had been traveling all over the country based on his music, would arrive Nigeria soon to put heads together with professionals and brands for what is planning to unveil.

R learnt that the talented musician would be releasing a different album to add to his eight albums credited to him and would stage a very massive concert.

“We had several meetings with who is who and our plan is solid but I don’t want to reveal all the plans for now. But a different album is coming and a concert you have never seen,” the source said.
