It was a moment of vision and purpose as Deola Layade, the dynamic founder and Chief Executive of Azaria, unveiled her latest humanitarian initiative, The Rise Project.
The newly launched non-profit organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life in underserved communities across Nigeria.
With a mission anchored on promoting dignity, inclusion and, empowerment for the underdeserved, The Rise Project, an initiative of the Azaria Impact Foundation aims to bridge the gap for vulnerable populations often overlooked in national development plans. Layade, already known in business and society circles for her entrepreneurial flair, said the initiative was born out of a passion to give back and to uplift those at the margins of society.
November 2025 will witness the first edition of The Rise Project, with headlining programmes like provision of mobility aids for people with disabilities, Mental Health Conference, Vocational and Digital Skills Training, provision of sanitary and digital dignity kits, and the installation of pedal-operated hand wash stations.

For Deola Layade, The Rise Project is more than philanthropy, it is a movement of hope. “This is about creating sustainable solutions that transform lives, one community at a time,” she emphasized.
With her sterling reputation in business and a growing passion for humanitarian service, Layade’s new venture positions her not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a beacon of compassion in Nigeria’s social development space.
