In a statement signed by Yahaya Danjada Arg, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Deputy Governor on Friday, Tafida pledged the government’s support for the grieving families and a commitment to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The funeral, held amidst sombre scenes, was also attended by high-ranking officials, including the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Muhammadu Mera, the Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, senior officers from the Nigerian Army, the State Security Service, and other governmental security agencies, who gathered to show solidarity with the community.
