Frontline leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the passing of the pioneer chairman of the PDP in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Alhassan Gwagwa.
In a press statement signed by the Atiku Media Office in Abuja on Monday, Atiku described the late PDP chieftain as a formidable pillar of the party.

According to the statement, “Alhaji Gwagwa will remain a pivotal figure in the history of our great party; his memory shall continue to inspire us with the sacrifices of great people who founded the PDP,” Atiku said.
He further urged members of the PDP not only in the North Central zone but across the country to take inspiration from the legacy of the late Alhaji Gwagwa, stating, “There is much to learn from his extraordinary life as a patriotic and community leader.”
Atiku expressed his condolences to the PDP family in the FCT and the national body of the party, praying that the soul of the deceased be granted entry into Aljannah Firdaus.
