The Headquarters, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army, on Tuesday, said it will conduct a second BI-Annual Combined Route March on Friday, 29 August 2025, in Jalingo.
Lt. Umar Muhammad, the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, disclosed the development in a press statement that the exercise is in line with the Nigerian Army’s Forecast of Events and Training Directive for the year, in collaboration with other security agencies.

According to the statement, the 15-kilometre route march was a routine military activity, designed to enhance the operational readiness, physical fitness, resilience, morale, and overall preparedness of troops for any assigned operational tasks.
It encourages residents to remain calm and go about their normal activities, as the exercise was a standard Army training.
