THE presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has presented his ideas of moving Nigerian forward if elected, saying that the most important question before Nigerians in the 2019 election is whether they are better off now than they were in 2015.
Addressing his followers on his Facebook account on Monday, the former Vice President observed that too many people have no jobs as the fabric of the society is breaking down.

Atiku stated: “On October 6, 2018, I sought and obtained the mandate of the Peoples Democratic Party to fly their flag as a candidate for the office of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Today, I’m formally presenting myself to you as the presidential candidate not just of the PDP but of the hopes and aspirations of all Nigerians.
“The sad fact today, as you know, is that too many of our people are not working and are leaving in poverty and insecurity.
“The very fabric of our society is breaking down. We have never been so divided as a nation.
“The most important question in this election is are you better off than you were four years ago? Are you richer or poorer? That is why our primary focus is to get Nigeria working again.
“However, I’m not here to tell you how we can get Nigeria working again. Instead, I will tell you how we will get Nigeria working again working together.
“I’m strongly of the view that I’m just one Nigerian and one Nigerian cannot be as wise as all Nigerians.”
