Apple recognises Nigeria’s Yunus Oyetunde in 2025 Hall of Fame for cybersecurity excellence

Kwara-born Ethical Hacker Yunus Oyetunde has once again made headlines as he was recognized in the Apple Hall of Fame for 2025. He is the only Nigerian to be acknowledged by the world’s largest tech company.

For the fifth consecutive year, Apple has shortlisted Oyetunde, a Lagos-based cybersecurity expert known as Coy Emerald, as one of its security researchers for 2025.
