All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council, a group within the ruling APC, has felicitated with the wife of the immediate past Governor of Lagos State, Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, on her 60th birthday, noting the Lagos former First Lady’s strong commitment to people’s welfare and the support she rendered to her husband in the development of the state.
The Council, in a congratulatory message by its National Director General, Dr Seyi Bamigbade, a copy of which was made available to newsmen, pointed out that the Council’s distribution of the food items and others to mark her 60th birthday was in tandem with her ideals of touching lives and bringing succour to people, especially to the less- privileged members of the public.
Food items and relief materials distributed by the council to the beneficiaries include rice, beans, garri, yam, oil and some fabrics.
Bamigbade hailed the Lagos former First Lady, describing her as a mother to many who had through her philanthropic gestures raised many vulnerable people, expressing gratitude to God for using her as a vessel to drive new humanitarian frontiers in Lagos and beyond.
The APC chieftain prayed to God to spare her life to enable her to render more of her services to the country.
Some of the beneficiaries could not hide their joy as they thanked the Council and the former First Lady for putting smiles on their faces.
