Recall that the group was formed by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi and Tijjani Ramalan as a pressure group within the APC.
According to Fatoki, the decision to dump the mainstream was informed by the need to restore the group to its founding ideals.
Addressing journalists in Kaduna, on Friday, Fatoki said the new leadership intended to use politics as a tool for development of Kaduna State .

He informed that arrangements had been concluded to initiate a genuine process of reconciliation between members of the group and the APC-led government in the state.
Fatoki, who emphasised that fanning embers of disunity in Kaduna APC must stop forthwith, assured, “We shall, Insha Allah, henceforth work towards the success of our party, the APC, in the forthcoming general elections.”
