All Progressives Congress in Plateau State has congratulated the Chairman, Senate Committee on Labour, Enjoyment and Productivity, Senator Diket Plang on the occasion of his birthday.
The APC in a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Shittu Bamaiyi described Senator Plant as a leader with blessed with leadership qualities, virtues and values, which have continuously endeared him to the people that cross his path.
According to the party, Senator Plang is one of the most decorated and celebrated politicians, having been once elected as a Councillor, Local Government Chairman, Member of the State House of Assembly, Political Adviser to three Governors and a Commissioner in Plateau State among other appointments at both the state and federal levels.
It pointed out that within a short period of being in the senate, Plang has created a voice and recognition as well as shot himself to national limelight due to his valuable contributions to national discourse, in addition to occupying strategic Committees, which have been of immense benefits not only to his constituents but the entire State.
“As impactful as his short stay in the Senate is, the distinguished Senator, sponsored alot of bills, notable among which, is the establishment of the Federal University of Mining and Geosciences in Jos as well as ensured the improvement of the learning environment in almost all Post primary institutions in the Plateau Central Senatorial zones, apart from creating employment opportunities for the teeming youths, economic empowerment of women and the less privileged in the State”.
The party therefore therefore implored him not to relent in his efforts towards uplifting of lives at all levels.
