APC factional leadership emerges, new office in Zamfara

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, loyalists to Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, has opened a factional office headquarters with newly emerged leadership of the party in the state.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting of the APC held at the factional office in Gusau, the state capital, on Wednesday, the acting chairman of the party, Alhaji Isiyaka Ajiya Anka, assured everyone of inclusivity.

“Let me begin by expressing our gratitude to Allah (SWT) for sparing our lives to gather here today for this all-important stakeholders’ meeting of our great party, the APC.”

“As you are aware, my emergence as the acting state chairman of the APC followed the suspension of the former chairman of the party, Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, the secretary of the party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima B/Magaji, and other members who were suspended by their wards due to internal conflicts and overbearing attitudes within the party.”

“It is a well-known fact that the suspended chairman of the party and his group divided the party into different political factions and denied other state executive members of the party, from the state to lower levels, from participating in the party’s activities, thereby becoming subversive and working against the party’s interests, unity, and development in the state.”

“In view of this, we called this stakeholders’ meeting to discuss issues for the unity and overall development of our great party in the state, as well as to provide an avenue for solving the problems and challenges currently facing the party in the state.”

“We, therefore, call on the security agencies and the national headquarters of our party to prevent these individuals from parading themselves as the leaders of the party henceforth.”

The APC appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently take all necessary measures towards fighting the menace of insecurity and other heinous crimes bedeviling the state.

“We are calling on His Excellency, the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to support the party members who have been loyal to him from the onset before he became the president of Nigeria.”

“As the acting chairman of the party, I assure you of my commitment to the success of the party, its unity, progress, and the well-being of all members without discrimination, bias, favor, or ill-will towards anyone. I affirm that I will carry everyone along, and I shall, Insha Allah, give you purposeful and strong leadership so that every member feels that they belong and are taken care of by my leadership.”

“The APC in Zamfara, under my leadership, shall be an example of good governance, integrity, probity, and transparency with an open-door policy for every member.”
