The All-Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPPS) has expressed its unwillingness to talk to the media for now on the issue of recently released results of candidates who sat this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The results were released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), with 62. 69% out of the total 1,969,313 candidates, who sat the exam, scored a minimum of five major subjects, including English language and Mathematics, after reviewing the earlier released results, which recorded only 38.32 % pass.
The National President of ANCOPPS, Muhammad Ibn Musa, on Sunday told Nigerian Tribune that he would not want to make public comment on the 2025 WASSCE results until the cloud is clearer.

According to him, I would not want us to rush into commenting, as I believe there could still be some other issues on the ground concerning the matter.
“So, let’s wait till probably Tuesday or Wednesday to talk about it,” he said.
