Anambra tech enthusiasts launch platform to support Soludo’s vision

Technology enthusiasts in Anambra have launched a platform to support Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s vision of making the state a livable and prosperous homeland in Nigeria.

The platform, Techies Unite for Soludo, was launched on Friday during a virtual session, where administrators explained its functionality to current and prospective members.

The platform is an interactive space aimed at supporting the governor in creating a technologically enhanced state while leveraging technology to provide solutions to everyday needs in society.

One of the administrators, Mr. Castro Ideke, described Soludo as a tech-minded leader, noting that Anambra is fortunate to have someone like him at the helm.

Unveiling the platform, Ideke said: “We have created social media handles on various platforms to promote Soludo’s work in the state.

“The platform is interactive, you can sign up and connect with many other tech enthusiasts. There is a section for all Soludo support groups in the state, and you can take pictures of Soludo’s projects and upload them to showcase the governor’s achievements.

“You can also ask questions about projects in your area, and people will respond in real time. It also features sections for engagement and job opportunities. What we plan to do with this project has never been done before,” he said.

Other key objectives outlined on the platform include promoting the tech ecosystem, advancing digital development, and ensuring the continuity of the current administration in Anambra State.

The platform states: “We also hold the government accountable for social and technological development in the state. We analyze the tech gaps in Anambra, develop strategies to close these gaps, support the re-election of the current administration for continuity, and seek to collaborate with the government to build a tech-driven economy in Anambra State.”
