THE people of Anambra State have continued to applaud the community choose your project initiative of the State governor chief Willie Obiano administration.
One of such commendations came from the President General of Nri community, in Anaocha Council area, Chief Chigozie Udegbunam who spoke to journalists on the importance of the initiatives in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
According to Chief Udegbunam, the choose your project initiative which is at its second phase no is one of the easiest way state government has a direct and constant link with communities of the state.

He added that the move has opened a way for public participation in governance as the communities are allowed to build the project themselves according to their needs.
Chief Udegbunam said that his community has completed the second phase of their project, making it the sum of forty million naira invested in their community by the government.
The President General congratulated Governor Willie Obiano and his wife Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano on their thirty years marriage anniversary, praying God to be with them as they continue to enjoy blissful time together as husband and wife.
