Always make the poor happy, Tioluwani charges Nigerians

REVEREND Paul Tunde Tioluwani the presiding pastor of the Bible Way Crusaders Church International and president of the Care People Foundation, has encouraged Nigerians to focus on making the poor happy reflecting a compassionate and social justice-oriented approach.

The cleric popularly known as Lesekese stated this during a visit of the Olamitoye family in the motherless home, along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, to celebrate the birthday of Mrs Olubunmi Olamitoye, last Thursday, adding that, “making the poor happy is highly accepted in the face of God and will promote the well-being of the less fortunate.”

“Aside from the fact that the chairman of the foundation, Dr Habib Olamitoye, and his family have been instrumental towards the growth of the foundation, they have made the right choice to abide by the ordinance of God to make the poor happy, especially at their special day.

“You decided to come and identify with the poor. You have the ultimate privilege to throw a bash for your birthday celebration, but you have come down from your horse to celebrate with the poor. This is what God wants. This effort touches the heart of God and I am convinced that God will reward you bountifully,” he added.

The cleric, who is also a birthday mate with the celebrant, described Mrs Olamitoye as a kindhearted woman, full of charity and a woman of virtue, who is very loyal and a great pillar of her husband’s success and humanitarian gestures.

On behalf of the celebrant, Dr Olamitoye charged the younger generation to be goal-setters, remain focused, and follow their dreams.

Tribune Church gathered that aside from the numerous supports of the family to the home over the years, including free medical services and scholarships, the Olamitoye family also donated a space bus for the home as part of the effort to mark the birthday celebration.
