Alaba Samson Kunlere has received an Award of Excellence for his significant contributions to the Ifelodun Local Government area in Osun State.
He founded ‘Be Your Own Boss’, a program launched in August 2017 that brings transformative social and entrepreneurial initiatives to secondary students and young adults in the community.
The program focuses on agro-processing, supply-chain management, and ag-tech solutions. It equips participants with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in these fields.
In recognition of Kunlere’s impact, chairman-elect Hon. Hassan Kamorudeen Okanlawon voiced deep appreciation on behalf of the residents.

The chairman added that Kunlere’s efforts have not only boosted the knowledge and practical skills of the youth but also strengthened community development by promoting food security, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
He noted that Kunlere’s dedication is a beacon of hope and an example of excellence in education.
