Aishat Mohammed speaks after World’s Most Fashionable Football WAGs’ honour

Delectable Nigerian actress, model, and influencer Aishat Mohammed, has spoken after the honour of being named among the Top Ten Most Fashionable Football WAGs in the world in 2024.

The Nollywood actress, who is so named on account of her fashion and style and her romantic relationship with FC Struga Nigerian striker Lanre Kehinde says she’s honoured and shares a peek into her world of fashion, beauty and style

In her reaction to the honour and the recognition packaged and announced by Game Set & Match (GSM) on November 3, 2024, Mohammed says. “I am truly honoured and really excited to be recognised as one of Game Set & Match World’s Most Fashionable Football WAGs of 2024.”

Aishat Mohammed is fifth on the list, which according to GSM was curated in partnership with an expert jury comprising influential voices from the world’s top football WAG pages on social media.

“With a sharp eye for style, our panel evaluated and nominated 10 WAGs each from a 30-name shortlist we provided on criteria ranging from innovation and versatility to influence and personal branding before GSM independently ranked the final list.

“The goal was not just to celebrate high fashion but to recognise those who set trends, embodying originality while reflecting their unique cultures and personal stories,” GSM states.

In a chat with our reporter, Mohammed describes her relationship status with her footballer boyfriend Lanre Kehinde, saying their relationship is built on mutual respect and understanding.

The Nollywood star also talks about her career, revealing that she’s been working on several movies and has also been involved in brand influencing for various companies.

On her modelling career, she shares, “I have been collaborating more with various brands for photo shoots and working on campaigns that highlight new collections. I’ve also done some brand influencing for several companies.”

“I see modelling as a lifestyle, not just a job because it reflects my expression and passion for fashion and creativity,” she adds

On fashion and beauty, the fifth Most Fashionable Football WAGs 2024 opines that fashion and beauty are a way of life. Adding that, “They complement each other perfectly. They create a blend that reflects personal style and creativity, allowing individuals to express themselves in unique ways.”

GSM says Aishat Mohammed has mastered the art of blending modest fashion with high-fashion drama. And when she was asked what beauty means to her, she simply answered, “To me, beauty is a way of life. It’s just an expression of yourself. How one carries themselves from within. It’s all about that inner confidence.”

On fashion and style, Mohammed notes that fashion is definitely more collective, while style is all about the individual.

“Also, attaining your style involves exploring different fashion choices and really paying attention to what works for you and boosts your confidence. It’s all about finding the right colours, patterns, and pieces that resonate with who you are,” she states.

For the record, the actress, described by GSM as “beautiful and stylish in grandiose,” shares her beauty regime as to how she keeps herself beautiful and stylish.

“Eating a healthy diet is a solid foundation for my beauty regime. Prioritising my skincare by keeping my skin clean and moisturised really helps me in achieving that fresh look, and everything just comes together,” she shares.
