This strategic partnership, according to Mr. Festus Adebayo, aimed to provide a platform for FMBN to educate Nigerians about its contributions to the housing sector and to demonstrate its commitment to addressing the nation’s housing deficit.
“The dedicated day will feature sessions led by seasoned experts, focusing on FMBN’s diverse mortgage services and impactful projects.

Besides, he said the bank will showcase its support for cooperative societies in developing housing estates, highlighting the impact of this initiative on community development and affordable housing provision.
According to Adebayo, the partnership will afford the FMBN to provide detailed information on its Rent-to-Own scheme, a program designed to make homeownership more accessible to low- and middle-income earners.
On individual mortgage loans, he said the bank will elaborate on its individual mortgage loan products, outlining the eligibility criteria, loan terms, and application process, adding that the bank as also has the opportunity to showcase its support for estate developers, emphasizing its role in financing large-scale housing projects across the country.
“A significant portion of FMBN’s day will be dedicated to enhancing public understanding of its mortgage services and improving accessibility.
“Experts will address common misconceptions and provide practical guidance on navigating the mortgage application process,” he said.
Scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 1, 2025, he said the forum would afford FMBN to demonstrate its efforts in leveraging technology to streamline mortgage applications and improve customer experience.
“The bank will conduct workshops and seminars to educate participants on financial planning, mortgage financing, and homeownership responsibilities.
“FMBN will present its strategies for addressing Nigeria’s housing deficit, highlighting its collaboration with other stakeholders in the housing sector,” Adebayo said.
According to him, FMBN’s participation in AIHS 2025 also underscored its commitment to collaborating with other key players in the housing finance ecosystem, including the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), Family Homes Funds Limited (FHFL), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), and Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC).
FMBN, he said, aimed to reinforce the housing finance framework by providing essential mortgage financing and supporting sustainable housing development.
“By working in synergy with other agencies, FMBN seeks to accelerate the delivery of affordable housing to Nigerians.
