AIG Imoukhuede wins ABLA Award in Kenya

Few days ago in far away Kenya, Nairobi, the Chairman of Access Holdings Plc and Coronation Group, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede shone like a star as he won the prestigious African Banker Lifetime Achievement award in a gala dinner and part of the 2024 Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank.

Speaking on the award, ‘Aig’ claimed it honours the collective efforts of over ten thousand talented individuals, mostly Africans whom he had the privilege to work with throughout his journey as a banker. He affirmed he was humbled as he sees the award as a motivation to continue contributing to Africa’s growth and development.

Imoukhede’s leadership was previously recognised in 203 when he received the ‘African Banker of the year’ award. Following a decade of accomplishments in banking and beyond.

This new award highlights his enduring commitment to nation-building and sustainable development. His legacy of transformative leadership, sustainable banking practices, and philanthropic dedication continues to inspire and drive positive change across Africa.
