The Majlis Ansarullah (Elders’ Group) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria will be holding a two-day free medical camp for residents of Karonmajiji village in Abuja between Wednesday, 21 August and Thursday, 22 August 2024.Â
According to a statement signed by the jama’at’s head of media relations, Dr Qasim Akinreti, the medical programme, which will be held at AMAC Primary Health Centre in Karonmajiji by 10am daily, will herald this year’s edition of Majlis Ansarullah’s 48th annual national Islamic conference which is billed to take place in Abuja.
The free medical services will include blood pressure and blood sugar testing, eye treatment, general medical consultation and a health talk.
The event, which is essentially targeted at people with disabilities in the community, will be declared open by the Minister of Health, Dr Muhammad Ali Pate, the statement added.
