Gospel music minister, Adetoun Adekoya Oshodi, better known as Adetoun, has released a second volume of her hugely anticipated ‘Shabach Praise’ just in time for the Easter celebration.
The praise session, according to Adetoun, was birthed by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and a heart overflowing with gratitude.
Speaking on her reason for the project, she said, “Praise is the essence of my being. This medley reflects my journey—where I’ve come from, where I am now, and where God is taking me. Every song within it tells a piece of that story. Shabach Praise is my offering, my testimony, and my worship.“

The song’s title, ‘Shabach Praise’ is derived from the Hebrew word ‘Shabach’, which means “to shout, to praise, or to commend“.
The compilation is an infectious and upbeat expression of praise and worship, with Adetoun‘s powerful vocals conveying a deep sense of joy and gratitude. The lyrics are a beautiful declaration of God’s goodness and faithfulness, emphasising the importance of praising and thanking Him for His blessings and mercies.
She hit the limelight when she emerged second runner-up in MTN Project Fame West Africa, season five, in 2012, and won a brand new Toyota Yaris and N1 million. Adetoun hails from Ogun State.
