… as investors restate commitment to partner govt

As part of his efforts to boost the economy of Osun State, the Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Olaniyi Akinloye, met with foreign business professionals and investors in Lagos State on Saturday.

The meeting was held in Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Friday was facilitated by the Chairman, Alfonso Group, Mr Gbenga Ogundipe, in partnership with Sinnvoll Group, and the governor’s aide on foreign partnerships, Mrs Helen Oduyemi.

The event brought together foreign business professionals, investors, and business analysts, most of whom are Chinese nationals from various sectors, including tourism, agriculture, mining, telecommunication, and aviation, among others.

Akinloye reiterated the government’s readiness for business in the state, through the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency (OSIPA), and other relevant government ministries and agencies to ensure foreign direct investment into the state via public-private partnerships to boost the state’s economy.

“Osun is ready and always open to business partnerships, both locally and internationally. The state, under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, has eased the state business environment. Osun is safe for business to move forward and protect investments.

“Osun government has also strengthened the security architecture of Osun to enable safe, standard and profitable business settling,” Akinloye stated.

In their separate remarks, the Huawei and Alfonso teams stated their intention to collaborate with the Osun state government in the areas of telecommunication, agriculture, and tourism.
