Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has appointed a young street puff-puff seller, Oluwatosin Adejumo, as a chef at the Osun State Government House in Osogbo, the state capital.
Tribune Online learnt that the presentation of appointment letter to Adejumo, which held on Friday, was in fulfillment of an earlier promise by the governor during a rally in Osogbo.
Governor Adeleke made the promise when Osun public servants trooped out in their thousands, following his return to the state from short vacation, in what they called an appreciation solidarity rally in support of the governor for his support and care since he took over state governance, Tribune Online reports.
According to reports, Adeleke had, during the rally in Osogbo, bought all her snacks with N50,000, and offered her employment as a chef at the Government House.

In a video sighted by Tribune Online, the governor, who sat in the bus, beckoned to the woman selling puff-puff by the roadside and asked how much it would cost to buy all the snacks.
The vendor, who holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE), was subsequently invited to the vehicle by the governor who further asked about the dishes she could prepare and instructed his aides to take her contact details for employment as a chef in the Government House.
Tribune Online gathered that Adejumo, accompanied by her parents, was presented her appointment letter on Friday by Governor Adeleke at the Government House in Osogbo.
