In his grief, former Super Eagles top striker and general manager of the 3SC Football Club, Oladimeji Mohammed Lawal, has announced the date for the 8th-day fidau of his late father.
Pa Taib Olanrewaju Lawal, a football lover and staunch supporter of the 3SC, died some days ago in Ibadan and was buried according to Islamic rites.
In the announcement signed by the family, the 8th-day fidau holds today at the He Cares Event Centre, Felele, Ibadan and expected to grace the prayer is the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, some of his commissioners, sports administrators, ex-footballers and other friends of the family.
