In its efforts to provide care to cancer patients, a non-governmental organisation, Access to Basic Medical Care (ABC) Foundation, has partnered with Roche Product Nigeria Limited.
The partnership in form of financial aid was brokered when the ABC team, led by its Chief Operating Officer, Mrs Dolapo Oyedipe, visited the office of Roche Product Limited, Lagos, on Monday.
Speaking, Oyedipe, who was represented by Miss Adetola Abolarinwa, explained that the partnership was in accordance with ABC Foundation’s cancer control programme.
She further sought more collaboration with Roche in finding remedy to breast cancer and other cancers.
Oyesipe asserted the resolve of ABC Foundation, an NGO of Mrs Florence Ajimobi, to battle cancer through advocacy, screening and early detection and delivery of primary healthcare services.
While receiving the ABC team, Dianne Eyisi of Roche, noted the need for such collaborations, while expressing commitment of the pharmaceutical company to finding ways to battle cancer.
