I have been battling an ailment since last December. It so happened that I hit my left foot on a pavement and the nail of the big toe came off. While the wound has healed, the toe is still swollen and I still feel biting pains inside the toe. I am afraid in case it is cancerous. Please, sir, I need your medical advice.

I don’t think it is cancer but it will be a good idea to see a surgeon in the nearest Specialist or Teaching Hospital to you for a proper examination and X-ray of the affected toe.
