THE Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria (CLCN) has been thrown into mourning following a devastating auto crash that claimed the lives of four prominent members of Jos Province.
The incident occurred when members of the council were returning from the Jos Provincial Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Jalingo Diocese.
According to a statement signed by Mr Donaldson Emberga, on behalf of the CLCN National President, several others also sustained injuries. He lamented over the incident and extended his condolences to the families of the deceased.
He also urged its members nationwide to offer prayers for the deceased and injured, as well as their families.
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and pray for the repose of their souls. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this difficult time,” Emberga said.
