A three-day 2024 convention series of Jehovah’s Witnesses entitled ‘Declare the Good News!’ has been put in place to deliver only good news to the people.
The convention, according to the church was one of the largest by the Christian organisation in the world, commenced August 9 and will end today in Lagos and Ogun states, Southwest Nigeria.
The programme according to the church is packed with motivational live programmes designed to comfort and encourage the public.
The free event hosted more than 3,000 attendees weekly at each of Lekki, Badagry, and Daluwon venues.
According to the local spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mr Ezekiel Bolaji noted that the Christian organisation is “excited to work, once again, with city officials in Daluwon, to host the conventions.
“These conventions are a highlight of the year for thousands of people who need to experience some positivity in their lives, and we are happy to enjoy the program once again in this welcoming and hospitable city.
“The ‘Declare the Good News!’ convention presented Bible-based videos, discussions, and interviews on topics such as ‘Why Do We Need Good News?’ ‘What Will You Do’ ‘for the Sake of the Good News?’ Why We Don’t Fear Bad News’ ‘Hold Firmly to the Good News—Why and How?,” he added.
