Ogun State Local Government public servants have been charged to be more dedicated and positive in the discharge of their duties, as their meritorious service will not go unrewarded.
Chairman of Yewa North Local Government Area of the state, Gabriel Ogunyomi said this at Ayetoro, during a send-off ceremony organised for the outgoing Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olabode
Ogunyomi, who described her as a woman of integrity and impeccable character, said she had contributed to the development of the administration through her dedication, intellectual capacity and unparalleled administrative acumen, stressing that she will be missed.
Ogunyomi, in a release signed by the council’s zonal information officer, Mr Lateef Akintinde commended Olabode for her enviable approach to work, as well as cordial relationship with colleagues and subordinates, urging her not to relent in service to humanity, despite her retirement.
The incoming HLGA, Mrs Elizabeth Solomon and Directors, General Service Administration (DGSA), Venerable Augustus Akinsanmi said Mrs Olabode had impacted lives of many workers in the council positively, stressing that the harmonious atmosphere she had established among members of staff will be remembered for life.
Olabode thanked the management and staff of the council for their cooperation and the support she received while in office, urging them to continue to be loyal in the discharge of their duties.
