The city of Ibadan again witnessed a massive gathering of worshipers that converged to steer the heaven with exclusive praise ushered by various gospel ministers at the Praise Banquet 2023.
The brains behind the event, popular gospel minister, Evangelist Bukola Akinade (aka Senwele Jesu) alongside other seasoned gospel ministers and ace comedian, Evangelists Bisi Aluko; Elijah Akintunde; Monique; Babatunmise; Kay Wonder; Lilian Nnegi; Olabest; Pastor Ife Odongiyan; Oore Ofe sax; Igwe Kenny, and Woli Agba, respectively lifted souls to express gratitude to God.
The event with the theme, “El-Gibbor” held at the BCOS exhibition ground, Adeke, Orita Bashorun, Ibadan, Oyo State, held December 5 was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life and popular clerics including, Pastor Taiwo Ojo; Pastor Funke Adetuberu; Pastor Claudius Olaiya; Bishop Isaac Abiara, and Pastor Joseph Akinade, among others. The clerics also led several prayer sessions to intercede for the nation.
According to Senwele Jesu, the praise concert was a mandate by God to launch a platform for people to have a deep reflection and freely express their gratitude to God.
“I and grateful to God for the grace to host hundreds of people at this year’s event and importantly, bringing them to the feet of the Lord for a total submission for sacrifice of praise for the gift of life and divine protection irrespective of the current situation of the country,” she added.
