The causes of bedbugs are reinforced by human activities because they spread from the furniture in your home, beddings, clothing, luggage, and so on.

Your personal items, such as purses and backpacks, are some of the common ways bedbugs spread, including places like theatres, public transport, and libraries.

Here are the common causes of bedbugs you should know:

Buying used furniture

One of the main reasons you see bedbugs in your home could be due to old furniture you purchased. This type of furniture invites bedbugs into the home. To prevent this, ensure you thoroughly inspect any used furniture you intend to bring into your home. You should also isolate such pieces for some time before bringing them next to other furniture.

Infested clothings

Another common cause of bedbugs is having infested clothing. This is a way people introduce pests into their homes unknowingly. Borrowed clothes or buying used ones can all have pests hidden in them. Then, from your clothing, it is easy for bedbugs to move to other items in the house.

Your visitors

Your visitors can cause bedbugs to take over your home. He or she might have stayed in a hotel or other accommodations that have such insects, hence they get attached. Apart from this, your visitors can bring on any other item that could have had it.

Travelling

Moving from one place to another can also lead to the propagation of bedbugs. They are tiny insects that really thrive in things; cause itching, rashes, and allergic reactions. You need to be particular about where you will stay and put your luggage during every trip.
