The Tinubu/Ambode Support Group has intensified voter registration campaigns by officially launching its volunteer portal, saying this was embarked upon as part of a renewed effort to strengthen democratic participation and ensure massive voter turnout, ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The group’s Director General, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, made this known to newsmen in Lagos, saying that the initiative was aimed at mobilizing citizens across the South-West geo-political zone of the country.
According to him, the structure is designed to encourage eligible Nigerians to register, update, and collect their PVCs as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) continues the exercise nationwide, saying it was part of the wider campaign effort being led by former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term bid.
“The campaign goes beyond politics, it is about civic responsibility. By opening the portal to volunteers, the Tinubu/Ambode Support Group seeks to build a strong network of passionate Nigerians who will join and assist the PVC Enlightenment Street Captains Team in covering communities across the South-West.
“This structure is part of the wider campaign effort being led by His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term bid,” Bamigbade said.
“Interested volunteers are encouraged to visit the official campaign website www.tinubuambode2027.com to register and participate. On the platform, volunteers will not only get access to vital information and sensitization materials, but also enjoy souvenirs such as branded t-shirts, face caps, and other exciting items as part of their involvement in the campaign,” he added.
Speaking further, Bamigbade explained that the voter card remained the most powerful tool in shaping Nigeria’s democracy, adding that with collective efforts and grassroots mobilization, more Nigerians can be empowered to make their voices count at the ballot box.
He, therefore, urged all Nigerians, particularly the youth, not to sit on the sidelines but to take active part in the democratic process by securing their PVCs and encouraging others to do the same.
“This campaign is not just about politics; it is about participation, inclusion, and building the Nigeria of our dreams,” he said.
