2027: Support group pledges to secure Ondo for Tinubu’s re-election

A political support group, BTO for PBAT 2027, has pledged to mobilise massive grassroots support across Ondo State to ensure a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

The group, convened by Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi, with Adewumi Folajimi serving as spokesperson, operates under the leadership of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

It said the group was conceived as a rallying point for progressive forces in Ondo State, committed to sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda and consolidating the president’s developmental achievements.

Expressing the group’s determination to position Ondo State as one of President Tinubu’s most reliable political strongholds, Adojutelegan noted that the president had demonstrated uncommon leadership in stabilising the economy, tackling insecurity, and introducing reforms that lay a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.

According to the group, Hon. Tunji-Ojo has played a pivotal role in connecting Ondo State to the centre of national governance, using his office to deliver reforms that not only benefit the state but also reinforce confidence in the Federal Government’s programmes.

“Our mission is clear: to deliver Ondo State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The president has shown that he is a leader with the courage and vision to transform Nigeria, and the results are already visible.

From bold steps to strengthen the economy to genuine actions in tackling insecurity, Nigerians can see that hope is being renewed.”

The group further argued that Tinubu’s developmental policies were already yielding dividends, citing fiscal reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, a renewed drive in revenue generation, and improved efforts to manage the nation’s security architecture. These, it said, are critical to sustainable national growth and the wellbeing of citizens.

They also praised the president’s political will in addressing long-standing economic distortions, saying his courage in taking bold decisions distinguishes him as a reform-minded leader who should be supported beyond 2027.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan; it is a national vision that is already producing results. The president’s track record of leadership and commitment shows his enduring statesmanship.

We, as a group, have resolved to deliver Ondo State for him in 2027 because his leadership is exactly what Nigeria needs at this crucial moment.”

BTO for PBAT 2027 said it would embark on extensive grassroots mobilisation across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State, engaging traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth, and women’s groups to build a formidable structure that would guarantee an overwhelming victory for Tinubu.

The group also appealed to residents of Ondo State to remain steadfast in their support for the president, assuring them that their collective efforts would secure a brighter future for the state and the nation at large.

Political analysts note that Ondo State has historically been a battleground in presidential elections, with shifting loyalties among major parties.

However, with the rising influence of Hon. Tunji-Ojo and the consolidation of pro-Tinubu structures across the state, BTO for PBAT 2027 believes Ondo could play a decisive role in the president’s re-election bid.

The group said it would soon roll out a comprehensive campaign strategy, including town hall meetings, empowerment programmes, and advocacy visits, to reinforce public confidence in the Tinubu administration.
