A political group in Ogun Central, The Central Pillars (TCP), has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, on his birthday.
The group, in a statement signed by its Convener, Hon. Kayode Amusan, and Chairman, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, described Adeola as a politician who had risen through the ranks and demonstrated commitment to public service.
TCP said Adeola’s emergence as the APC candidate for the 2027 governorship election had placed him in a position of greater responsibility to the people of the state.
The group said: “Yours has been a determined and purposeful journey over the years, rising through the political ranks and now as the candidate of our great party, the APC, in the 2027 governorship election in Ogun State.”
It described the senator as a “tested, trusted and competent leader” while expressing confidence in his ability to provide what it called purposeful leadership for the state.

The group further said Adeola’s political career had been marked by “compassion and loyalty to the people of Ogun State, service, commitment to the progressive ideals and progress for Ogun State”.
TCP said his birthday provided an opportunity to reflect on his political journey and the responsibility that came with his emergence as the APC governorship candidate.
According to the group, “You’re a man whose quiet dexterity and noiseless capacity are already a reference point in the political firmament.”
It wished the senator many more years in good health and prayed for the fulfilment of what it described as God’s purpose for his life and Ogun State.
Adeola is currently representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly and is the APC candidate for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
