The Chairman of the Jigawa State chapter of the Nigerian Butchers and Livestock Sellers Association (NBLSA), Alhaji Muhammad Maifulani Dutse, has deposited the sum of ₦1 million as part of the association’s contribution toward the purchase of the 2027 nomination forms for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi.
He also announced the association’s determination to launch an appeal fund to raise substantial amounts to support both leaders in purchasing their nomination forms to contest under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
Speaking to newsmen in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, Maifulani said the gesture was in appreciation of the economic and infrastructural development initiatives delivered by the Federal Government under President Tinubu and the state government under Governor Namadi since they assumed office.
According to him, “The Nigerian Butchers and Livestock Sellers Association (NBLSA), Jigawa State chapter, has endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Malam Umar Namadi for a second term and launched a fundraising drive for their nomination forms in 2027.”
He cited their exemplary leadership and transformative impact on people’s lives as the motivation for the initiative, urging the public to donate in appreciation of the two leaders’ sacrifices for the well-being of citizens.
Maifulani stressed the need to begin early so that well-meaning citizens could contribute according to their means ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He described President Tinubu and Governor Namadi as exceptional leaders with clear blueprints for sustainable development. He noted that in less tha n two years, the Tinubu administration has significantly improved Nigeria’s revenue generation, enhanced infrastructure, and expanded public services to drive growth.

“The ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda is making an impact, and we must all rally behind it to transform our country into a better place for all,” he said.
“In Jigawa State, the 12-point agenda of Governor Namadi has fast-tracked transformation in all aspects of human endeavour over the past two years. This includes the completion of 25 inherited road projects and the award of 42 new ones. Additionally, over 180 primary healthcare centres have been upgraded, more than 1,200 health workers employed, 6,000 teachers recruited, and 600,000 youths and women empowered through small and medium-scale business support. Agriculture has also received unprecedented attention,” he added.
“Today, Jigawa is on the path to prosperity. We, the people, have endorsed President Tinubu and Governor Namadi for a second term and urge patriotic Nigerians to donate toward their nomination forms in appreciation of their sacrifices for our well-being,” Maifulani declared.
He also urged Governor Namadi to lead the fundraising efforts for President Tinubu in Jigawa State, while Maiunguwa Jaga was nominated to coordinate the fundraising drive for the governor.
