Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has charged the executive and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to redouble their commitment in promoting integrity and unity of the party to maintain power at all levels.
The governor made the call in his speech while flagging off the distribution of 120 new motorcycles to APC ward’s executives of 12 local government areas of the Jigawa North West Senatorial Zone at Kazaure town.
The motorcycles were donated by the senator representing the senatorial district, Senator Babangida Hussaini Kazaure.
The governor, during the event, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment following the party’s good manifestos which contains all the provisions of programmes that will uplift the social and economical positions of the electorates.
Governor Namadi explained that the APC executives and its members are government agents at their respective domains in representing, protecting and promoting the party and government.
He therefore applauded the senator’s effort and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of it.
On his part, the Senator representing the Jigawa Northwest senatorial district, Senator Babangida Hussaini Kazaure, noted that the donation is aimed at supporting and encouraging them to enable the party to carry out their duties effectively.
According to him, apart from the chairmen, other party (APC) stalwarts and some members benefited so many things, including motorcycles, to increase their morals in service to the party.
Senator Babangida Hussain disclosed further that “since of our inception in 2023, we did a lot and positively touched the lives of our people through constituency projects and with our personal resources in different support, interventions and empowerments.”
He further revealed that his interventions include construction of hundreds of classroom blocks, provisions of medical equipment and drugs, farm inputs and implements, training of women and youth and securing of employment in many federal ministries and parastatals, including military and paramilitary.
According to him, “here in Kazaure local government area alone, we constructed Mathematic and Statistics Complex Hall at Hussain Adamu federal Polytechnic; construction of blocks of two and three classrooms at GSS Kanti, GDSS Gada; donations of e-JAMB scratch card to 50 students this year; N50,000 grand to each of a BSc students; and payments of school fees for 106 students of Federal Government College Kazaure for three years, etc”.
The senator Babangida Hussain has also reconstructed and modernized the Kazaure Emir’s palace, the Kazaure, Gumel and Ringim township stadiums to national league match standard.
He therefore commended the governor for his time and encouraging comment, promising to continue in good representation and service to humanity.
