The All Progressives Congress (APC) has completed the upload of its 471 candidates for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal.
The party submitted the names of its presidential and vice-presidential candidates, 109 Senate candidates and 360 House of Representatives candidates, completing the nomination process for all positions covered by the portal.
APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, announced the development in a statement issued on Sunday, one day after INEC closed its portal for the submission of presidential and National Assembly candidates.

He congratulated the party’s candidates, leaders and members for the successful completion of the nomination process.
“I congratulate our candidates, leaders, and members of APC on the successful 100% upload of our Presidential, Vice Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP),” he said.
He added, “With this milestone achieved, our focus now shifts to mobilisation and preparations for a successful campaign and decisive victory at the polls.”
The successful upload also settles months of uncertainty over the APC’s presidential ticket, confirming that Vice President Kashim Shettima will remain president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s running mate in the 2027 presidential election.
