The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the successful conclusion of Hajj seat sales for the 2025 pilgrimage, with over N19 billion remitted to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) as payment for Kano State pilgrims.
The Director General of the board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, reaffirmed the board’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and seamless Hajj experience for all registered pilgrims.
Danbappa assured the public that all necessary arrangements are being made to guarantee the comfort, safety, and well-being of Kano State pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.

According to him, “The board had earlier announced an initial deposit of N8.4 million for intending pilgrims, with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) allocating 4,356 seats to Kano State for the 2025 Hajj.”
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, expressed appreciation for the cooperation of Local Government Hajj Center Officers and Zonal Coordinators, urging them to stay informed about further updates on the pilgrimage process.
In a related development, the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board received a delegation from the National Hajj Savings Scheme, who paid a courtesy visit to strengthen their partnership and collaborative efforts.
The Director General, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, pledged to work closely with the scheme to ensure the success of the initiative.
