The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the commencement of the airlift of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj operation.
The first flight is scheduled to take off on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 10 am prompt, with 400 pilgrims from various local government areas in Kano.
The board has confirmed that over 300 visas have been accessed, and the due process is ongoing to ensure a successful airlift.
Officials from the Medical Team, Media, and Health will accompany the pilgrims to ensure a smooth and hitch-free journey.
The Public Relations Officer of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Suleiman Dederi, commended the intending pilgrims for their commitment during the induction training and assured that the board is working tirelessly to provide a comfortable and spiritual journey for the pilgrims.
