The Anambra State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reiterated its readiness to ensure adequate security during and after the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), to curtail examination malpractice.
The State Commandant of the Corps, Mr David Bille, stated this yesterday when he visited the Management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB in Anambra State.

Mr Bills, while appreciating the existing synergy between JAMB and the Corps assured the JAMB Coordinator in the State, Mr Cyril Mozie, that Officers and Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps are well trained and are being retrained to discharge their duties effectively in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination through the provision of adequate security, protection of government critical national assets and infrastructure to be used for the examination and maintenance of law, and order before, during and after the examination.
Responding, the JAMB Coordinator in Anambra State, Mr Mozie, commended the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, for the existing partnership between it and JAMB, calling for its sustenance.
He enjoined the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps to always join hands with the body to ensure that examination malpractice and corruption are eradicated in the conduct of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination across the Federation.
