2019: I have no issues with you, Oshiomhole tells Bauchi gov

IssuesNATIONAL Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has declared that he has no ‘issues’ with Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar regarding his intention to seek re-election in the 2019 general elections.

This is contained in a press release signed by Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Ali Mohammed Ali made available to newsmen in Bauchi.

The Special Adviser stated that the APC National Chairman gave made the clarification when he hosted the Governor in his residence in Abuja on Tuesday saying that his main concern was the electoral victory of the party at all levels.

The release further contained that, “Looking directly at the visiting Governor, he said, ”I have no issues with you, Your Excellency. My concern is winning the impending election especially the presidential one. We want to win more states and more legislators. I have faith in you.”

According to the release, the APC National Chairman, therefore, wished his guests well and safe trip back home.

Speaking earlier, Mohammed Abubakar told his host that he was in his residence to intimate him on first hand that he was returning his governorship nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2019 general elections at the party’s national secretariat.

The Governor was accompanied by members of the national and state assembly, members of the states executive council and top party stalwarts.
