AS various political parties begin their Campaign for the Presidential election, a group, Think Naija Think Atiku (TNTA) has said that plans have been made by the group to mobilise one million votes for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The group which said it started in the United States, said by January, they would also embark on a one million match for Atiku in Abuja, which they would convert to one million votes for he PDP candidate.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, the Coordinator of TNTA Darlington Okpebholo said the group started had been existing before Atiku emerged as the Presidential candidate of the PDP.

His words: “this group is called Think Naija Think Atiku (TNTA) Movement, we actually started it way back even before he (Atiku) was nominated the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, as a matter of fact, we started this in December 2017 in New York, United State, when he moved from the All Progressives Congress to the PDP, myself and some of my friend sat down in New York, though it is wise to pull our weight, our resources and energy together to support his candidacy, then he was just an aspirant.
“As I speak with you, the United State chapter of this group is still very functional, the United Kingdom group, Italy group and the Berlin group are all functional, and we are pulling everything together to make sure that his Excellency, the candidate of the PDP, former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is elected the President of Nigeria in 2019.”
He, therefore said “there are so many plans, ways we are going to be doing this, but the main aspect of it is what we are going to be discussing today where in January 2019, we will be holding what we call a one million man match for Atiku.
“That one million man match for Atiku will be taking place here in Abuja, we have the structure across the 36 states in Nigeria and of course the FCT to make this happen, we have our state coordinators across the 36 states, we have local government coordinators and even to the ward coordinators that are ready to storm Abuja for this 1 million man match for Atiku Abubakar.”
“Most importantly, the one million man match we intend to hold in Abuja for Atiku is a one million vote from TNTA for Atiku, because we are not just going to match and go back home, we are going to match and have everything documented, we are going to match and make sure that those that are coming for his one million matches are PVC holders, we are going to match and make sure that every singular individual that is Abuja that day is a voter in any part of the country, we will collate the date and make sure that the one million matches are converted to one million votes for Atiku Abubakar
He explained “we are going to do it like a procession that will take off from Mabushi and we will walk down to Eagle Square where will be having some PDP leaders and the Presidential Candidate of the party and the Vice to address us.
