2019: Atiku’s Worldwide connections will save Nigeria ― Group

Atiku, nigeriaAtiku, nigeriaTHE Director-General of Atiku Leadership Development Initiative (ALDI) Hon. Dominic Okey Nwuzor has said that with world-wide contacts, experience and success in private and public life of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, he will lead Nigeria to the highest height of development.

Nwuzor who spoke at the inauguration of Anambra State chapter of ALDI in Awka yesterday also said that Atiku Abubakar is generally accepted in the country because of his relationship with every part of the country having married from three geographical areas of the country namely: the North, the East and the South West.

Besides, he continued, Atiku knows Nigeria inside -out having spent decades in Nigerian politics.

He urged members of the group to work hard because Atiku will emerge the friendliest President of Northern extraction if he wins.

Welcoming the national officers to the event, the state coordinator Hon. Ozoh Okonkwo said the group is rooting for Abubakar because it believes he holds the key to the many problems bedevilling the country.

Okonkwo said members of ALDI has a structure through which to deliver candidates that bring it in.

He, however, urged the gathering to get their voters card so they can achieve the victory they envisage.

In a lecture, Mr Gauis Nnite said that Atiku is a rear bridge that can bring the “lion and lamb together”.

He described him as a one time herdsman that used the stick and no AK 47.

He added: “Nigeria has never lacked leadership materials but that Nigerians have never bothered to choose the best to lead them because of tribalism within which is rooted in corruption and insecurity”.

This he said has not led the country anywhere. Nnite.

Now that Atiku wants to run for 2019 Presidential election, he continued, Nigerians should support him as ” a preacher of peace and national integration, the greatest apostle of Nigeria’s restructuring from the North, reconcilable, receptive, responsible, responsive, resilient, resurgent and resolute.

He said Atiku has walked down many roads to set Nigeria free from self-inflicted bondage, looked up many times to catch the vision of Nigeria’s redemption from the skies, has ears to hear when people cry and regards the death of a poor man as one death too many.

The event was attended by national officers of the group, women groups as well as Hausa community and featured presentation of certificates to members of state executive committee#
