2019: Atiku’s outburst against PMB is right, he is entitled to his opinion ―Lamido

apcTHE former governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido dismissed the speculation that the recent outburst of the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar on President Buhari’s administration is working for the opposition People Democratic Party (PDP).

The immediate fast governor made the disclosure yesterday while fielding question to news men in his home village Bamaina, Birninkudu local government area of Jigawa state, said “Atiku is entitle to his opinion like any other Nigerian”.

The PDP presidential hopeful expressed concern on how some people “especially politicians were always accusing other with different political party, ideology, interest or opinion with them”.

According to him “though type of people were always on blackmails and panting other people black simply for exercising their constitutional right”.

He added that “what was wrong on what Atiku said? Is he (Atiku) not in APC? Wasn’t he contributed for the party’s victory? Didn’t he abandon? I wonder how some people took Buhari, is he (Buhari) a cent? Can’t Buhari be wrong? Does that means he cannot be corrected?”

He therefore warned politician against politics of blackmail and sensation, adding that, that would not auger well for the existing democracy and the country at a hall.

Lamido stated further that APC demonstrated that the party cannot rule the country “there is no way Nigerians that can be convinced again on falsehood like in the past to vote APC for the second term in office. Because, the APC doesn’t know administration at all”.

On the current happening in the country, Lamido called for a mutual understanding among Nigerians. “Nigerians should eschew violence against one another, it never bring peace to anybody in country”.

The former Governor warned that Nigerians deserve all privileges, enjoy their rights and the rule of law irrespective of their geographical areas and identity among others.

He further emphasize that the only party to reunite Nigerians again is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). “Therefore, development can only be strived if there is peace and tranquillity among Nigerians”.
