Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Sunday called on his opponents to join hands with him to build a new Benue.
Ortom in his acceptance speech called on the opponent to bring to the table their developmental plan which he said would be joined with his own for the development of the state.
The governor assured that his second term would be better than the first, stressing that the state had journeyed in the wilderness but have stepped into better days with his re-election.

He noted that the state had long been dedicated to God and enjoined the people of the state to embrace God in all their doings.
While dedicating his victory to God, the people of the state and the members of PDP, governor Ortom promised to be governor of all the parties.
